July marks the halfway point to the holiday season, and we figured, why not bring out a little of that warm, fuzzy feeling (minus the sweaters)?

In local news that caught our eye this week: Downtown Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row is buzzing with summer art pop-ups and community markets. Several local cafés have extended their evening hours to accommodate the crowds attending mural walks and local makers’ nights — a sure sign that despite the heat, our local scene is thriving.
Also: press coffee recently opened a new location inside Sky Harbor’s Terminal 3, which means Phoenix travelers now have one more specialty option before takeoff. We always love seeing Arizona coffee culture show up strong — whether it’s at the airport or in a neighborhood roastery.
