🍂 Featured Recipe: Sonoran Spiced Cold Brew
Even as the temps dip, we know Arizonans still love a cold brew. This version brings fall flavor to your glass:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coarsely ground Saguaro Blend (or your favorite Sonoran Bean coffee)
- 4 cups cold, filtered water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of brown sugar or agave (optional)
- Ice + splash of cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine coffee grounds, water, and cinnamon stick in a large jar or French press.
- Stir, cover, and steep for 12–16 hours in the fridge.
- Strain through a coffee filter or mesh sieve.
- Add vanilla and sweetener to taste, then pour over ice with a touch of cream.
Rich, smooth, and with a hint of spice — it’s fall in a glass.
🌅 A Story from the Sonoran Desert
The first chill of October slipped through the saguaro that morning, carrying the scent of rain that never came. A lone coyote paused near a dry wash, ears twitching as the wind whispered through the mesquite. Somewhere in the distance, a small roadside café stirred to life — its lights flickering on, a fresh pot brewing, steam rising like a signal to the desert dawn. The world felt still, yet alive, and every sip of coffee felt like a promise that something new was coming.
Here’s to cool mornings, bold brews, and warm company.
From all of us at The Sonoran Bean — thank you for being part of our desert story.
